Our Story
The Highlight Group was founded in 2010 to help businesses leverage music in order to engage and connect with patrons while having the feel of live music entertainment.
Our founder, Tom Macari a NYC native and celebrity DJ was constantly asked to create mixes that could be played when he wasn't spinning. Playlists that would create the ambiance of having a live DJ.
A decade later our business continues to provide curated playlists to some of our original hospitality clients, all while expanding into new verticals.
The Highlight Group has supervised the music program for numerous Fortune 500 companies, from Las Vegas conventions to conferences held in Madison Square Garden as well as international events at Cannes Lions. We create music selections for marketing campaigns, product launches and event activations and of course we still curate background music for various businesses. With the current event landscape we've expanded our services, offering top tier virtual solutions to ensure businesses can still enjoy carefully curated music while remaining socially distant.
